Q: When I can register? How much is a team?
A: Registration opens at this web site March 1st at midnight. Teams are $500 each, and new this year, we hope you will consider the Team Fundraising Challenge to help us raise even more for the kids!

Q: My company wants to support the cause, but we can't do a Corporate Sponsorship of $5,000 this year. Are there other sponsorship levels available?
A: Yes! Your company can be a Court Sponsor for only $1,500, which includes one team, one Beachfront tent package, and your company's logo on Court Signage on one of the 93 courts. Please call us at 505-243-6626 to reserve your Court Sponsorship, or, you can reserve your Court Sponsorship online when registration opens at this web site March 1st at midnight.
Q: I camped with my own tent last year. How much is it to get one of those awesome professional tent packages?
A: Tent packages range from $275 to $550, depending on the size of your group and the location. Beachfront is prime real estate and will sell out first. You can reserve your tent when you register, starting March 1.
Q. Do you need volunteers?
A. You bet! What better way to spend a day than watch grown adults getting dirty while raising money for kids? Help 9000+ participants and teams make a difference in the lives of special needs kids while having a blast! Call us at 505-243-6626 to sign up!
Q: What do I need to know this year?

- TEAM CAPTAINS’ MEETING, Monday, June 7, 2010, 5:30 PM at Embassy Suites Hotel, 1000 Woodward Pl. NE (at I-25 & Lomas). This is a mandatory meeting for all team captains to get your court and tent assignments and t-shirts.
- YOU CAN SET UP CAMP on Friday, June 11, from noon to 5:00 PM. On Saturday, gates will open at 6:30 AM. Arrive in plenty of time to find your team and your court. Any team arriving late forfeits their first game.
- COME PREPARED, know the name of your team captain, the name of your team or the name of the company sponsoring your team.
- GET CREATIVE … Win prizes for Best Team Name, Best Team Camp, and Best Team Costume.
- ALL GAMES ARE RECREATIONAL. Underhand serves only. Rally Scoring.
Q. Is parking free?
A. Parking is free. Because the event has grown, space is limited. Carpool! Carpool! Carpool!
Reminders:
As the Mudd Volleyball Tournament has grown larger each year, the continued safety of our participants is a major concern. Therefore, the following rules will be enforced:
- No tailgate parties
- No REFUNDS.
- No re-entry to the playing field. Carry all coolers, chairs, etc. in one trip. Be sure you have your glasses, any medical needs (such as an inhaler or insulin, etc.) with you when you enter the playing field.
- NO CHILDREN under 13 years of age. NO EXECPTIONS.
Q. What Should I Bring:
- Cash or Card (for ATMs)
- ID, only 21 years & over will be served beer
- Shoes, you must wear shoes to play
- Duct Tape, plan on taping your shoes to your feet
- Protective Eye Wear
- Towel & Change of Clothes
- CARPOOL, CARPOOL, CARPOOL!
Q. What Shouldn’t I Bring:
- Alcohol, there will be a cooler search
- Grills, food vendors will be on-site
- Glass, no bottles or containers of any kind
- Dogs or pets
- Children under the age of 13
- Jewelry
All proceeds from this event will go to the Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation. Because of the charitable nature of the event, no refunds will be given.
