Q: When does registration open this year?
- Registration for Mudd Volleyball opens March 1st at midnight. This event sells out every year, so, get your team together now! Payment must be received in full at the time of registration to secure your team. (This is a charitable event. No refunds.)

Q: How do I get to Mudd Volleyball?
- Mudd Volleyball is located just south of Albuquerque at the corner of Rio Bravo and 2nd Street. Click here to download a map with driving directions -- you can take either the Gibson Exit or the Rio Bravo exit. REMEMBER TO PLAN AHEAD AND CARPOOL!
Q: What do I need to know this year?
- TEAM CAPTAINS’ MEETING, Monday, June 4, 2012, 5:30 PM at Embassy Suites Hotel, 1000 Woodward Pl. NE (at I-25 & Lomas). This is a mandatory meeting for all team captains to get your court and tent assignments and t-shirts.
- IF YOU ARE NOT RENTING A TENT, YOU CAN SET UP CAMP on Friday, June 8, from noon to 5:00 PM. On Saturday, gates will open at 6:30 AM. Arrive in plenty of time to find your team and your court. Any team arriving late forfeits their first game.
- COME PREPARED, know the name of your team captain, the name of your team or the name of the company sponsoring your team.
- GET CREATIVE … Win prizes for Best Team Name, Best Team Camp, and Best Team Costume.
- ALL GAMES ARE RECREATIONAL. Underhand serves only. Rally Scoring.
Q. Is parking free?
A. Parking is free. Because the event has grown, space is limited. Carpool! Carpool! Carpool!
Reminders:
As the Mudd Volleyball Tournament has grown larger each year, the continued safety of our participants is a major concern. Therefore, the following rules will be enforced:
- No tailgate parties
- No REFUNDS.
- No re-entry to the playing field. Carry all coolers, chairs, etc. in one trip. Be sure you have your glasses, any medical needs (such as an inhaler or insulin, etc.) with you when you enter the playing field.
- NO CHILDREN under 14 years of age. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Q. What Should I Bring:
- Cash or Card (for ATMs)
- ID, only 21 years & over will be served beer
- Shoes, you must wear shoes to play
- Duct Tape, plan on taping your shoes to your feet
- Protective Eye Wear
- Towel & Change of Clothes
- CARPOOL, CARPOOL, CARPOOL!
Q. What Shouldn’t I Bring:
- Alcohol, there will be a cooler search
- Grills, food vendors will be on-site
- Glass, no bottles or containers of any kind
- Dogs or pets
- Children under the age of 14
- Jewelry
We want you to have fun on Saturday, the 9th -- please be safe and follow the rules!

- The Team Fundraising Challenge is a great way to increase your impact! All of your registration fee supports important programming for New Mexico's special needs children, and we need you to step up to the challenge so we can DO MORE to make a difference for these remarkable kids!

- How much can you raise by June 3rd? For prize consideration, all teams in the Fundraising Challenge must meet their goal by June 3. Donations are welcome and helpful year-round.

Q. Do you need volunteers?
- YES! The Carrie Tingley Hospital Foundation can't do what we do without the help and support of hundreds of volunteers. For Mudd Volleyball, there are so many ways to get involved.
